Rice Cooker

I was SO tired of making rice in a pan. Either it didn’t cook enough, cooked too much, or burnt the bottom layer. I love rice, but hated making it. So for Christmas, I asked for a rice cooker, and my hubby got me one. Yea!

Meet my newest kitchen toy, my Tenavo Smart Rice & Grains Cooker.

This rice cooker makes rice perfect and is so easy, even brown rice (which has always been my nemesis).

For brown rice, grab the cup measure. Add 1 cup of brown rice to a mesh strainer and rinse, then add it to the rice cooker. Add 3 cups of water, and 1 tablespoon of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter (optional). Then close the lid.

Press the menu button until the Brown Rice button starts to blink, then press start. THAT’S IT! After about 70 mins the cooker automatically goes from cooking the rice to keeping it warm. Use the scraper to remove and serve the rice.

This is a game changer!
