Cedar Salmon

Cedar Salmon is one step above ordinary baked salmon. I’m always looking to add taste but not calories. I found it here!

  • Fresh salmon
  • Gourmet Cedar Cooking Wraps
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh herbs (thyme, oregano and basil)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

  1. Put cedar paper in water for 15-30 minutes
  2. Preheat oven to 400
  3.  Mince the herbs and put in a bowl
  4. Add to the bowl lemon zest and juice of 1/2 the lemon
  5. Add salt and pepper
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of oil
  7. Mix and put the herbs all over the salmon
  8. Cut salmon into 4 slices
  9. Take one sheet of the cedar paper out of the water and put it on a place
  10. Place one slice of the salmon on the cedar paper and tie it with cooking string
  11. Repeat for all salmon slices
  12. Get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper
  13. Brush parchment paper with 1 tablespoon oil
  14. Place all cedar salmon on the paper and bake for 15-20 minutes

Note: You can serve it with the cedar paper on and make a dramatic presentation, but don’t eat the cedar paper.

Salmon pairs with just about any veggie you have in the house. I served it with green beans and a red pepper.
